An outcast New York City cop is charged with bringing down Harlem drug lord Frank Lucas, whose real life inspired this partly biographical film. In 1968, Frank Lucas Harlem Gangster Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson has a right hand. When Johnson has a heart attack, Lucas Harlem takes control of the crime scene. After handing in about $1 million that he found in a robbery car, Newark detective Richie Roberts was profane in his anterior. Your exiled and addicted partner “Blue Magic” After overtaking a powerful brand of heroin, Captain Lu Toback made Roberts in charge of a task force that targets local suppliers. Lucas buys Blue Magic directly from producers in Thailand and smuggles into the Us through Vietnam War troops. His low overhead ultimately allows most of the New York-area dealers to do Blue Magic wholesale. With this monopoly, Lucas expanded his control over nightclubs, casinos and prostitution. He buys a mansion for his mother and recruits his five brothers, including Hui and Turner, as lieutenants to spread his empire. During Harlem’s becoming the crime boss, Lucas falls in love with a Puerto Rican beauty queen Eva.
