Movie Plot: In 2006, a spacecraft crashed in Brightburn, Kansas, on a farm owned by Toby and Kyle Breyer. Inside the ship was a newborn baby that the couple adopts and named brandon. Then they hide the spaceship in the basement of the barn to hide the truth from Brandon.
Ten years later, the ship began to broadcast a foreign message, which showed Brandon that he had supernatural power, speed, and impurity. He falls asleep in the barn and tries to open the basement, chanting the craft’s message, but the Tori intervenes. Close to puberty, Brandon becomes disobedient and derogatory. Celebrating Brandon’s birthday at a dinner, his uncle Noah and Aunt Mirelli gave him a hunting rifle, which Kyle refused to give to Brandon, and Brandon caused a scene. It leaves Kyle out of Dinner and with the Tories. Kyle suspects there is something wrong with Brandon, and Tori found models, surgical diagrams, and graphic photos of human organs in Brandon’s room. That night, Brandon travels to her classmate Caitlyn’s house, hiding in her room until she notices him. Returning home, Kyle finds his chickens terrified by Brandon, who is standing on them; Shortly after, Kyle found that the chickens were killed along the closed door of the coop. Kyle insisted that Brandon was responsible but the Tories themselves understood that it was a wolf attack.
